How To Change A Background Color Of A Text Box Or Picture Box:
1. Double click on the box you’d like to edit or right click on the box and choose “format autoshape” or “format text box”
2. The first tab is labeled “Colors and Lines”
3. Here you have the option to change the “fill” (background of box) color or “line” (border of box) color of the box
4. If you click on the “Color” drop down menu you can choose a color from the options or you can choose “More Colors” to make custom colors
5. You also have an option for “Fill Effects” where you can change the background of the box to a gradient, a texture, a pattern or insert a picture background
How To Add A Picture To A Shape:
1. Double click on the shape or right click on the shape and choose “format autoshape”
2. Under the tab “Colors and Lines” click on the drop down menu for “Color” under the “Fill” section
3. Choose “Fill Effects”
4. On the “Fill Effects” screen that pops up click on the “Picture” tab
5. Click “Select Picture” and browse for the photo on your computer
6. Then click “OK” twice until you are back to your document
How To Fix A Picture That Is Distorted In Picture Box Or Shape:1. Determine if the picture is distorted to be too wide/skinny or too tall/short
2. Then click on the side of the shape/box that is distorted and drag it either in or out to fix the proportion of the image
3. If you can’t get the image to look proportional, then just delete the shape/box and insert a text box
4. Drag the text box where you’d like it to be on the screen (by clicking on the border of the text box)
5. Click inside of the text box, go to the “Insert” menu at the top and insert a picture from your computer.
6. You can adjust the size of the picture by dragging the corner of the photo

How To Change The Style Of Text:
1. Select (highlight) the text you’d like to edit
2. Go to the “Format” menu at the top and choose “Font”
3. Here you have options to change the name of your font, style and size
4. You also have check boxes at the bottom if you like to add a shadow, outline, emboss or engrave
How To Change The Font Case Of Text:
1. Select the text you’d like to change
2. Go to the “Format” menu at the top and choose “Change Case”
3. Here you have options to change to lower case, upper case, ect.
